Seafood Boil Ramen

Ingredients:

  • 8 cups water
  • 2 lbs assorted seafood (shrimp, crab legs, mussels, and/or clams)
  • 2 packs ramen noodles
  • 1 corn on the cob, halved
  • 1 sausage link, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snow peas, trimmed
  • 1 red potato, diced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Seafood:
    • Clean and devein the shrimp. Scrub the crab legs. Rinse the mussels and clams under cold water.
    • In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a boil. Add Old Bay seasoning, half of the minced garlic, and a pinch of salt.
    • Add the seafood to the pot. Boil for 5-7 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and the crab legs are heated through. Remove seafood from the pot and set aside.
  2. Prepare Vegetables and Sausage:
    • In a separate pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the remaining minced garlic and sliced onion. Sauté until fragrant.
    • Add sausage slices, diced potatoes, corn halves, broccoli, and snow peas to the pan. Cook until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  3. Cook Ramen Noodles:
    • Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Assemble the Seafood Boil Ramen:
    • In serving bowls, place a portion of cooked ramen noodles.
    • Arrange the boiled seafood, sautéed vegetables, and sausage on top of the noodles.
    • Ladle some of the seafood broth over the ingredients in each bowl.
  5. Garnish and Serve:
    • Garnish the seafood boil ramen with fresh parsley and a slice of lemon.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Serve hot, encouraging diners to squeeze the lemon over the seafood for an extra burst of flavor.
