Ingredients:

For the Stir-Fried Noodles:

  • 8 oz (225g) egg noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas, trimmed
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, thinly sliced

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Noodles:

  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large wok or skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add sliced bell pepper, julienned carrot, broccoli florets, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, chili garlic sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and toss to combine.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the wok, tossing everything together until well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions and set aside.

2. Cook the Steak:

  • Season the thinly sliced steak with salt and pepper.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a separate skillet over high heat.
  • Add the sliced steak and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking.

3. Cook the Chicken:

  • Season the thinly sliced chicken with salt and pepper.
  • In the same skillet used for the steak, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil.
  • Cook the chicken slices for 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.

4. Assemble the Dish:

  • Arrange the cooked steak and chicken on top of the spicy stir-fried noodles.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with extra green onions if desired.
