Slow Cooker Ham and Potato Soup

Instructions:
- In a slow cooker, combine diced ham, chicken broth, water, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or until the vegetables are tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, in a medium saucepan, whisk together milk, heavy cream, and flour until smooth. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Stir the milk and flour mixture into the slow cooker, ensuring it is well combined with the soup.
- Continue to cook on low heat for an additional 30 minutes to allow the soup to thicken.
- Before serving, taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Remove the bay leaf.
- Ladle the hot soup into bowls, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve.
