Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the Spaghetti: Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Meat Sauce: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, cooking until the onions are translucent and the beef is fully cooked.
  4. Add Tomato Sauce: Stir in the crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste. Add oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Simmer the sauce for 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Combine Ricotta Mixture: In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese and sour cream until well combined.
  6. Assemble the Casserole: In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked spaghetti. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the spaghetti, followed by half of the meat sauce. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the sauce. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Bake to Perfection: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Remove the casserole from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Slice, serve, and enjoy your Million Dollar Spaghetti Casserole!

This indulgent dish is sure to impress with its rich layers of pasta, flavorful meat sauce, and cheesy goodness. Perfect for gatherings or a comforting family dinner!
