Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and allspice. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the meat mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are browned and cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, prepare the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour to create a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
- Gradually whisk in the beef broth, ensuring no lumps form. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Place the cooked egg noodles in the greased baking dish. Arrange the baked meatballs over the noodles.
- Pour the sour cream and beef broth mixture over the meatballs and noodles, ensuring even coverage.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is heated through.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
