Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and allspice. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are browned and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  6. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the flour to create a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. Gradually whisk in the beef broth, ensuring no lumps form. Continue to whisk until the mixture thickens.
  8. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
  9. Place the cooked egg noodles in the greased baking dish. Arrange the baked meatballs over the noodles.
  10. Pour the sour cream and beef broth mixture over the meatballs and noodles, ensuring even coverage.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and the casserole is heated through.
  12. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
  13. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
