Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, milk, eggs, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Add the marinara sauce, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper to the meat mixture. Mix again until the sauce and seasonings are fully incorporated into the meat.
- Transfer the meat mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and shape it into a loaf, making sure it’s evenly distributed.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- About 10 minutes before the meatloaf is done, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, allowing it to melt and become golden brown.
- Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
