Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a standard-sized loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the sour cream and milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced peaches, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- In a separate bowl, prepare the cream cheese swirl by beating together the softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour half of the peach batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon half of the cream cheese mixture over the batter. Repeat with the remaining peach batter and cream cheese mixture.
- Use a butter knife to gently swirl the cream cheese mixture into the peach batter, creating a marbled effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the Peaches & Cream Loaf to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, slice and serve. Enjoy the delightful combination of sweet peaches and creamy goodness in every bite!
Note: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for an extended shelf life.
