Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) of beef chuck, cubed into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 cup of Barley, rinsed and drained.
  • 3 Carrots, peeled and chopped.
  • 2 Celery Stalks, sliced.
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped.
  • 3 cloves of Garlic, minced.
  • 4 cups of Beef Broth, low sodium.
  • 4 cups of Water.
  • 2 Bay Leaves, for that aromatic touch.
  • 1 teaspoon of Thyme, dried and fragrant.
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste.
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish.
